The Lille keeper has become the only Nigerian listed after having shown brilliant performance both with club and country, goal.com reports.
The 31-year-old Enyeama was ranked among the top goalkeepers of the concluded 2014 FIFA World Cup as he played the major role in leading the team to 1/8 of the Mundial.
It is also worth noting that the player had a great season with his club where he went 1062 minutes without conceding a goal as Lille set up an early challenge for the Ligue 1 title. The club finished 3rd and earned a UEFA Champions League spot.
In May Eneyeama was named the winner of the Marc Vivien Foe prize for best African player in the French Ligue 1 football championship for the 2013-2014 season.
He also helped Nigeria win the 2013 AFCON held in South Africa.
The Goal 50 award is based on the annual calendar and achievements of the footballers throughout the entire season. The players' performance is estimated with respect to their big-game performances, footballing legacy and the success of their team at both club and international.

The Goal 50 will be announced Monday, July 28. Since the award inception in 2008, it has been won 3 times by Lionel Messi (the current title holder), twice by Cristiano Ronaldo and once by Wesley Sneijder.
