Chelsea have announced the re-signing of legendary striker Didier Drogba on a one-year deal.
The Blues have already signed Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid as they look to strengthen their forward line.
And Jose Mourinho has decided to bring back club favourite Drogba to offer support to the Spain international, as announced on the club's official website.
Drogba had a spectacular first spell with the west Londoners that ended in him scoring the equaliser and winning penalty in the Champions League final.
He then left to join Turkish giants Galatasaray but failed to truly settle in Turkey, although he did score 16 goals for the club.
Juventus were also keen to snap him up this summer, but it appears he always wanted the emotional return to the club where he enjoyed the best days of his career.
The Ivory Coast star has always been open about the fact he enjoys playing under Mourinho and now the two can re-unite as Chelsea look to challenge for trophies this upcoming season.
