President Goodluck Jonathan has sworn in two new ministers on Wednesday, July 23.

The former Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Osita Chidoka has officially become the new Mininster of Aviation, while the former lecturer of the University of Abuja Dr. Suleman Abubakar was named the Minister of National Planning and Deputy Chairman of the National Planning Commission.

According to the report by PM News, the two ministers were welcomed to the cabinet before the start of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

It would be recalled that it comes in a week after the Senate confirmed the two candidacies previously directed by Jonathan for screening.

Chidoka will replace ex-minister Stella Oduah sacked from her position over being involved in allegedly illegal purchase of expensive bulletproor cars.

Meanwhile in FRSC Chidoka himself will be replaced by his Deputy Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi.
