Ahead of the 2015 elections, a political group, under the umbrella of Atiku Abubakar Restore Nigeria, ARAN, has urged former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to run for Presidency as his emergence would restore hope for the common man and as well provide jobs for the youths.

The group, ARAN made this known in a statement by its Convener, Mr. Oluwasegun Ola-Jones, on Monday, July 28 in Abuja, saying the former Vice President should run on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The statement added that the only hope left for the restoration of human dignity and abolition of poverty in Nigeria was for Abubakar to take over from President Goodluck Jonathan.

The group also condemned the recent bomb attacks in both Kano and Kaduna states by the Boko Haram sect which was reportedly targeted at Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) and Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi who narrowly escaped the blasts, killing scores.

"We also felicitate with all our Muslim brothers and Sisters on the occasion of the just concluded Ramadan fasting.

"We pray that the gains of the season will not be lost on all with the belief that every Nigerian continues with the spirit of being a brother's keeper," according to ARAN.
