REPUTATION MAKES RE-ELECTION: AREGBESOLA RETAINS THE TITLE
FOLORUNSO FATAI ADISA writes:
Mention the name George W. Bush in mixed company, and you're likely to spark a lot of debate and emotion - hot and cold, good and bad. Not a lot of neutral reaction. He was elected in the most controversial contest in American electoral history and governed during one of the most tumultuous decades.
Said Mark McKinnon

Similarly is Engineer Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola who was largely criticized at any campaign rally held by the opposition, owing to this a number of the populace held some contrary views while many continue to hold on to their believe in him which was lucidly depicted in yesterday's election.
An election may be said to be a formal decision-making process by which a population chooses an individual to hold public office. A constitutional way of changing government which is devoid of violence.

To me there are three critical ingredients to democratic renewal and progressive change in Osun State: good public policy, grassroots organizing and electoral politics all of which OGBENI typifies. in the light of these i believe OGBENI had fufilled every requisites needed to safely sail the ship of the state of Osun for the next four years.
Besides man's handi-work shall pave way for him, evil begets evil same goes for good deeds,My people would say "eniyan oni gbi cocoa,ko wa ka agbon" one would surely reap whatever one sowed, Our people are not daft, can easily differentiate between Efficiency and inefficieny, a popular saying goes thus 'seeing is believing' we believe in what we can see and not abstract. We Nigerians are tired of empty promises rather we need a government of ACTION and not WORDS,we want to cease being a backward nation as we also want to testify to the dividends of democracy through infrastructural development and not 'stomach infrastructure' we have desisted from following political parties as they are virtually all birds of a feather ratherrather we now believe in people's integrity and their burning desire to patrotically serve their fatherland.
Conclusively,I congratulate the people of Osun who had largely trooped out to exercise their franchise despite the presence of the intimidating numbers of security personnel yet they made their choice. I wish you a fruitful and hitch-free four years journey you are set to embark upon. Ipinle Omoluabi Oni daaru ooo!
