21 Reps, 2 Senators set to dump PDP for APC
Abuja - The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is about to lose its majority position in the House of Representatives to the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports NewsDay.

About 21 PDP lawmakers in the House have notified the leadership of the lower chamber of their intention to join the APC in the coming days.

The PDP lawmakers are angry that they were edged out of the party's ward congresses by their state governors.

Two Senators have equally signified their intentions to dump the PDP for the APC.

Last December, APC seized the majority position from the PDP when 37 PDP Reps dumped the ruling party.

However, the majority position of the APC was short-lived after some of its members defected to PDP amidst allegations of financial inducements from the presidency.
