<br>After so many weeks of anticipation and hype towards the father of awards in Ogun state where students out of the Gateway state come together yearly to give honours to whom is due.

<br>The Campus Mega Awards which held at the prestigious Richton Hotel Ibara Abeokuta; Capital of Our state saw student representatives from across all universities in Ogun State and its environs and Koga Entertainment act Zayo was crowned as the overall fastest rising artiste in Nigeria out of Ogun state which is where he started his music career. In response from his label representative Slasha said "as they say; Charity begins at home, we hope now that he has conquered the home community, this would serve as a spring board to launch him to the mainstream part of the entertainment industry".

<br>Zayo who after winning Koga Open house last year became the first artiste to be signed on Koga records alongside E2M SkinnieTwid  and Dris and he has since released three singles (Coloured, Ewomo and Basia) which are receiving massive airplay on Radio and video rotation on major TV stations.

<br>It is still unclear the exact number of girls who have regained freedom, but director of defence information, Major-General Chris Olukolade, confirmed the news to TheCable. 
<br>"What I can confirm now is that some of the girls are already in the barracks,"he said. 
<br>The details are still sketchy. 
<br>At least 54 of the girls had escaped while 219 were still being held by Boko Haram until now. 
<br>A few hours before the news broke, the national chairman of Chibok Association, Dr Pogu Bitrus, had expressed optimism that the girls would soon be rescued. 
<br>Speaking with TheCable on Tuesday, Bitrus disclosed that the Nigerian troops had recorded some success in their effort to rid Sambisa of Boko Haram. 
<br>"If you go to Sambisa now, they have cleared parts of that Boko Haram stronghold. The troops have made inroads into places where the girls are," he said. 
<br>"We don't have confirmation yet about the return of the girls, but we know that they are in two camps close to the border. We believe before the end of the day we will get a confirmation."

They will record a song together, that I know'the source said affirmatively.<br>Despite their rivalry, the duo are flying high with award nominations, and making so much funds from sold out concerts.<br>Penultimate weekend, Davido headlined a sold out concert in the UK alongside Tiwa Savage and Diamond from Tanzania.<br>After the show where Davido performed to over five thousand fans, he wrote about the show's success on his Twitter page.<br>'The London 02 Academy was fucking sold out!! Next stop Glasgow Scotland,'he tweeted.<br>He performed for the first time in Glasgow on Friday, September 19, 2014 and then went to perform in Germany on September 20, 2014.<br>Next he'll perform in Paris, France on September 27.<br>Wizkid will also headline a concert in UK on September 26, 2014 at the indigo 02 arena, while his much anticipated sophomore album AYO (joy) making waves since it was released on iTunes.<br>Just a few hours after its release, the album rose to the top of the iTunes world chart, and also made its way to the 99th slot in the top 100 albums for all categories.<br>Still basking in the success, Wizkid has been unveiled as the co-headliner for the 2014 Hennessey Artistry alongside 2face Idibia.<br>Davido had initially offered to bury the hatchet a few weeks ago when he granted an interview to Sahara Tv saying,'It's not beef at all. This is the first time I'm saying this but the only reason I was upset was because of the NY concert. I was even going to tweet like you know 'make sure everybody turn up for my brother Wizkid's concert' and he threw a shade like that. I'm not going to take that…that's why I went and said what I said. But it's all cool, at the end of the day, we got to keep it on the music. Shout out to him.<br>I'm still a big fan. It was never nothing but don't throw a shade at me…especially when we were on the flight earlier.'<br>Wizkid's response to this wasn't entirely peaceful, and the twitter rants continued. Over the last two months, both stars have granted separate interviews where they gave an account of what led to the conflict, and after careful analysis, it's safe to say both of them are truthful in their narrations, however, hasty decisions and misinterpretation on Davido's part has been adjudged to be the underlying cause of the rift, which might explain why he's the one trying to make peace with Wizkid.<br>In a second attempt to bury the hatchet, Davido<br>tweeted to congratulate Wizkid on the release of his long awaited album saying,'Congratulations to both P SQUARE And WIZKID on their Album release May God continue to bless y'all OBO'. <br>Brown, who recently released his sixth studio album X, was honest about his post-jail physique.

<br>"My normal weight is like 180 and I was 215 when I got out of jail," Brown admitted.

<br>"I couldn't fit in my jeans, fit in my clothes. I was scared to go out, I was like, 'Man, people will see me and I look fat,' so after a while I went and played a lot of basketball, a lot of cardio.
<br>
<br>"I was always dancing, always dancing, trying to get my body back."
<br>
<br>The 25-year-old, who was disgracefully charged with assault after beating up then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, said controlling his anger is still a work in progress.
<br>
<br>"I see my therapist twice a week, it's amazing and I was at first adamant about it, like, 'I don't want to go to therapy, I'm not going to talk to anybody,' but as I went through it and kept talking, it's actually very therapeutic."
<br>
<br>The "Loyal" singer went on to say therapy has been an advantage.
<br>
<br>"For me it was more of an opportunity for me to understand my feelings and understand what I was dealing with in my own life," he said.

<br>"I didn't know how to express myself without it being anger or aggression because I felt a certain way, but now it's more of me being able to control it and understand it."

I simply wanted people to see Funke Olunloyo's history of violence that runs deep, got her finger amputated at 7 when I was 11 one afternoon at Premier Hotel when we were kids.  <p>Her aggression had started 40 yrs ago when after swimming we argued and I vividly remember her hitting me with a coco yam plant branch. That plant caused me an allergy and I began itching and had asthma. Asthma paralyzed me as a kid and she came after me with that plant again and I threatened to shut the car door on her hands. She attacked me with the plant again, I was covered with hives and dared me to, putting her fingers in the door jam and I slammed my parents car door. Her finger was amputated and treated at UCH. All this while my parents were paying for our food and swimming.  <p>She got kicked out of my house by police in America during one of her fake vacations, violence cost her a divorce 12 years ago after beating the hell out of her ex husband businessman Muyiwa Omitowoju and inflicting massive child abuse on my son KJ in 2006 because he wet her bed on an overnite trip to his cousins. She also stabbed me 2012 with a kitchen knife in the famous dispute where her disgusting son the same one that assaulted me stole my BB memory card out of my Canadian phone and erased it. My Fox News and CNN archives were gone forever. It would cost me N250,000 to replace to call every network who normally charge $80-100$ per tape with about 13 of my lifelong media work. Funke blamed me for this boy's theft when her son secretly went into my office stealing the entire phone and KJ's Playstation which we found all in his possession.  <br> <br>Argument ensued, I was making a salad, she grabbed the knife, stabs me December 2012 and all I get in my city is all this bullshit about why we live in the same house and don't talk or haven't spoken since 2012. Only thing I share is that big kitchen she has now possessed seizing 2 gas cookers and one electric. My family means nothing to me anymore.  <p>At 50 I should be enjoying my life not being in an attempted murder by my sister and nephew. Funke Olunloyo is the Oyo state Special adviser to the Governor on Education. Start by educating your own children. What a joke! So desperate she accused me of trying to bring down the APC Government simply because I tweeted the governor 25 times in a chat to fix our street that swallowed a bus full of people and give us water. Now you Ibadan idiots know why we never talk though we share the same house.  <p>Nigerians dote all over domestic violence yet cheer it. It's not always man versus woman, My sister's was wife versus husband and sister versus sister.<p>#FamilyDomesticViolence affects everyone. Jr.<p>We deem it imperative at this historical juncture to salute our ever dogged,rugged and intellectual Oouites,since the genesis of this noble struggle for affordable and qualitative education in our University,which is premised on our ideology that 'education is a right and not a privilege',the rank and file of Students populace have remain resolute.<p>It is rather unfortunate that in this part of the world, we are confronted with irresponsible and irresponsive government,who remain deaf to the word of the great Icon,former South African President,who says "Education is the most<br>powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". It is quite worrisome that the continuous lack of vision of our political elites and a society that trivilise education of the people is producing slaves for society that values education,this justifies the bases for the deaf and dumb act of our government to the cries and yearnings of our gallant Oouites,for affordable education against the status quo.<p>Dearest Oouites,we refuse to be stagnant, we refuse to succumb and never shall we stop our continuous agitation for affordable education in our University,however,it is painful to announce that the Students' Union Government is suspending the ongoing struggle for now.<p>Oouites,the suspension is based on the apparent realities,having critically looked into it,and considering the intervention of ASUU (Oou Chapter), JAF and other civil society organisations,the decision was taken,and for the overall interest of Oouites, irrespective of faculties,level or any academical status in the University.<p>Meanwhile,some of the issues that informed our decision was that the if we continue the struggle,2013/2014 session would be scrapped,ASUU will embark on her leave.<p>Next year,the 2014/2015 will commence with the implementation of our agitated reduced fee, furthermore, the concession by the University Senate, if rejected, what is possible based on the information we have is that, Security men will take over and the school will resume. When this happens, lectures will commence and Union members (Students) that want resumption will resume and by then, we would have lost the power to negotiate or get the University Senate's concession, including the 2 instalmental payment for this session.<p>We are able to see these issues among others, by the virtue of our position which informed our decision for suspending the struggle and to avoid the wise word that says, "grasp all and lose all". <p>In conclusion, we want to emphatically state here that the decision to accept the new fee was predicated on the request to commence implementation in 2013/2014 session. <p>The inability of the authority to implement it gives credence to our continuous struggle on what is payable from 2014/2015 session. To us, we will continue to say that it is illogical, wicked and shameful of the Ogun State Government to refuse to implement the agitated reduced fee from this current session.<p>The insincerity and anti students acts of certain individuals in Ogun State Government is highly regrettable. While the Students have accepted the concession and 2 instalment paying method from the University Senate, to us, the negotiation on what to pay in 2014/2015 shall continue. <br>However, we implore all our students to know that we remain victorious in this struggle, for struggle without self truth and reality consideration is futuristic dangerous.<p>We hereby appreciate all media organisations that have been with us, Civil Societies, especially Joint Action Front (JAF) and every progressive individuals.<br>Please note that soon, we shall come again as the struggle for affordable education continue.
